Hey you wine lovers! This is a group for novice wine explore to the knowledgeable wine consumer to have the opportunity to taste and experience new wines. We will offer several different venues for wine exploration. On a weekly basis you will have the opportunity to preview wines that are presented by our staff and, from time to time, our vendors. You will also have opportunity to join wine paring dinners with local restaurants. Lastly, you will be invited to wine classes. These classes will generally have a food pairing component, wine education, and plenty of good conversation.

Sail back in time to the ancient Illyrian coast, where ships once ruled the Adriatic and traditions of winemaking took root. From Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia come grapes with names that may be hard to pronounce, yet their flavors feel warmly familiar. These wines bring a touch of the exotic just in time for fall, inviting you to step a little outside the ordinary and into something adventurous. Don’t be afraid to explore—the journey is part of the pleasure!
Wines of Illyria Citluk Stone Cuvee White Bosina Herzegovina 2022 90% Zilavka (Zhi-LAV-kuh) and 10% Bena (BEN-na). Aromas of chamomile, verbena, green apple. Ripe warm flavors of apricot, star fruit, fine minerality, juicy acidity, and a long herbal-tone finish.
Pilizota Babic Coastal Croatia 2019 100% Babic. Aromas of ripe dark fruit, particularly blackberries, blueberries, plums, figs, and licorice. These aromas are accompanied by the typical earthiness of the Babić grape, which is what gives this wine a certain body weight and complexity. A very friendly and intriguing character invites you to keep on sipping.
Wines of Illyria Citluk Blatina Bosnia Herzegovina 2021 100% Blatina. Aroma of red tart cherry, pomegranate, marionberry, violets, warm spice, mineral. Continuing to the palate, add additional flavors of lavender, blackberry, black currant, bramble, tar, black plum, coriander, dried figs, chocolate, roasted almonds, sage, with a black pepper finish.
Wines of Illyria Citluk Winery Vranac Bosnia Herzegovina 2021 100% Vranac. Aromas of sour cherry, red currants, elderberry, rose hip, ripe strawberry. On the palate the red fruits are added to notes of black cherry, blackberry, black plum, light baking spices, dried strawberry and cherry flakes, earthy sweet tobacco, with undertones of elegance minerality, and a pinch of salinity, vanilla, and oak. Acidity lies at medium. Wine has soft tannins and an overall medium body. The intensity flavors increase as the wine is left to open up.
