Hi All - While not much notice here, some have 'cabin fever' during this time of the year and capturing great photos at my favorite park in the city is a home run. Let's all get out on a crisp day and capture some great pics! In such a compact area, there are many types of pics to suit your genre: landscape, seascape, urban, walk around, Boston skyline, architecture and people.

Castle Island was once a real island. Multiple defensive forts were built over time and the current one is 160 years old. It is right on the water and offers fantastic views of the city, You can see the Boston Harbor islands and a few lighthouses. Logan airport is nearby and you can get some good pics of planes landing or taking off.

We'll meet at 2:30 in the parking lot and begin our walk/wonderings. There are several things I can recommend depending on what type of pics suit your fancy.

Suggested lenses would be wide angle and a mid-range zoom. Also a telephoto could come in handy. I'll be bringing a few film cameras. Even a camera phone can get good stuff here.

Yes this is last minute, but with the holiday some might be better able to attend. Forecast is in the mid 30s and partly sunny. Great lighting about 2 hours before sunset. As we are next to the ocean, wear warm clothing.

Any questions please post here or direct message me if you wish. Hope to see you on Monday!
