NOTE: The date and time have been changed because of weather predicted for Saturday evening

Join us for an afternoon exploring two of northern Massachusetts' most attractive New England towns. Just a few miles apart, Ayer and Groton each offer a distinctive blend of historic architecture, quiet streets, and small-town character.
Our primary focus will be photographing handsome buildings and architectural details, but there will also be opportunities for street photography as we wander through both town centers.

We'll begin at 10:00 AM in Groton, parking in the Groton Public Library parking lot before setting out on foot to photograph many of the town's finest buildings, including beautiful churches, historic homes, civic buildings, and classic New England streetscapes.

Then we will drive a few miles to nearby Ayer, photographing it's downtown (all 3 blocks of it,) and several of its outstanding buildings. At Ayer, park at the Commuter Ayer Rail Parking Garage. The sides of the garage are open, just walk out to the Rail Trail just outside and we will meet up there (see the PHOTOS section.)

About noon, we'll call it a day, and for those who would like to have lunch, socialize, schmooze, we will dine at The Pleasant Cafe.

This meetup is suitable for photographers of all experience levels. Whether you use a DSLR, mirrorless camera, or smartphone, you'll find plenty of subjects and opportunities to improve your photography while enjoying a pleasant afternoon with fellow enthusiasts.
