Harvest Super Moon over Empire State Building from Hoboken, NJ

Using PhotoPills, I’ve discovered a stunning alignment of the Harvest Super Moon rising directly behind the Empire State Building on Tuesday, October 7th. We’ll be shooting from a park along the Hudson River in Hoboken, NJ, with the moon perfectly positioned behind the antenna at 7:25 PM.

📷 The Empire State Building will be approximately 2.0 miles away, so I recommend using a lens of at least 400mm to capture the full impact of the scene.

💬 To coordinate logistics, there will be a Zoom call on Monday, October 6th at 7:30 PM. I’ll walk through the plan using my iPhone and briefly explain how I calculated the alignment.
