Saturday April 22nd

Saturday will start with an optional lunch gathering at 11:45am, followed by our first official meeting point at 1pm for those that do not join us for lunch.

We’ll start with some Midtown madness in the Times Square area, where you can photograph the bright lights and glitz of Broadway and the hustle and bustle of one of the busiest spots in the city. From there we shoot some stunning parks, buildings, and the diverse street life. One on one and group instruction is available all day.

From there we’ll head to Grand Central Station Terminal, where we’ll show you the best spots, both inside and outside, to get amazing images.

A quick subway ride will whisk us to more famous iconic buildings, including the famous courthouse from “Law & Order.”

From there, we’ll take a walk over the Brooklyn Bridge, where, high above East River, you’ll have close-up views of many of the buildings in Lower Manhattan, as well as dramatic, late-afternoon views of the Bridge itself.

Once on the Brooklyn side, we’ll stop for dinner at our favorite pizza parlor (pretty much any Italian sandwich or dish is available, too) and then go to an adjacent park on the East River, where you will receive expert instruction on how to properly photograph these incredible captures on a tripod. At that point, you’ll shoot the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, as well as the Lower Manhattan skyline, shortly before, during and after sunset.

Sunday April 23rd

For our morning session, we’ll start at 9am and head down to Battery Park at the tip of Manhattan, where we’ll take a cruise to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
THE CRUISE TICKET IS INCLUDED!

Don’t forget to point your lenses back towards Manhattan for dramatic views of Lower Manhattan! One on one and group instruction is available all day.

Our final segment in the afternoon is 3 hours strolling and stopping in Central Park, where you’ll get to shoot some of the most photogenic sites in the Park, many famous and some little-known.

For those doing both days, it's recommended that you book a hotel in Newark NJ close to the Newark Penn Station. There are many hotels available for under $150 per night. We will train in from the Newark Penn Station to the New York Penn Station.
