Join us for Civic Coffee, a relaxed but purposeful monthly meetup where Richmond locals come together to learn, discuss, and act on the civic issues that shape our daily lives, both locally and nationally.
This is a nonpartisan space for community conversation and grassroots empowerment. We’ll focus on:
- Upcoming elections, ballot measures, and voter resources
- Community challenges and opportunities in Richmond
- Local government agencies and how to navigate them
- Actionable steps for civic engagement
Expect guest visits and Q&A sessions with folks from agencies like:
- Richmond Department of Public Utilities (DPU)
- Richmond Police Department (RPD)
- Animal Care & Control
- Department of Public Works
- Richmond City Council & School Board
- And more
You’ll leave each session with real tools, knowledge, and a few new neighbors. From understanding how to dispute a water bill to knowing who to call when a streetlight is out, Civic Coffee connects the dots between community and change.
