Manhood Delayed

Details

In an age that celebrates youth and resists responsibility, many men find themselves caught in a prolonged adolescence—struggling to commit to specific careers or partners, root themselves, or fully step into adult roles.

This discussion group will explore the archetype of the Puer Aeternus, or “eternal boy,” a psychological pattern described by Carl Jung and others, which continues to shape male identity in profound ways.

We will examine why this phenomenon may be more visible and widespread today—considering cultural, economic, and psychological factors—and how it manifests in personal lives, relationships, and society at large.

Participants are invited to reflect on their own experiences or observations, and to engage in a constructive dialogue about how individuals and communities can support the transition from youthful potential to mature purpose.

This event is open to all who are interested in depth psychology, cultural analysis, or the challenges of modern masculinity.
