Civic Hack Night in Tech Square

Details
MEETING TIME MOVED UP TO 6:00PM. We're now in The Garage in the basement of the Square on Fifth Building. It's right behind the Centergy Building, across the alley (Abercrombie Street) from LA Fitness. A parking deck is right next to the building, with a cheaper surface lot available on the corner of 5th and Spring Streets.
Code for Atlanta hack nights are all about getting stuff done. We're an all-volunteer group of software developers, user experience designers, data analysts, project managers, policy wonks, and socially-conscious citizens who get together to work on projects that make where we live better. We welcome participants of all skill levels and backgrounds.
We start off by learning about civic projects attendees have brought and then divide ourselves into small groups to get to work. We also organize a few general interest groups for brainstorming new projects. If you have a project to work on, or if you'd like to lead an interest group brainstorm, please email us at yall@codeforatlanta.org.
Bring your laptop. There will be pizza and soda, so come hungry.
This event will also feature a brief Civic Hacking 101 session to introduce new attendees to the broader civic hacking movement and recap our recent history here in Atlanta.
We're sponsored this month by Nead Werx (http://www.neadwerx.com/), a full service software firm specializing in the development of cloud-based enterprise applications. They're hiring (http://www.neadwerx.com/careers.php)!
