The Age of Post-Literacy

Are we entering an age of Post-Literacy, where we read less books but consume more social media? What implications does this have for our future and/or critical thinking?

For this meetup we will be discussing Rose Horowitch's article 'The End of Reading.' For those that don't have a subscription to the Atlantic we will summarize the article at the beginning.
