Details
Here's an opportunity to get out and photograph some birds. It is formally organized through a photography association called PPA. They hold spring and Fall Workshops for only $120/day. I am the person holding the workshop. You must pay and reserve your participation through their website. The workshops will be one day 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. You have a choice of: May 15th, or May 16th. Look for Claire Archer in AL. note: It's really georgia, but it depends on the map you use.
note: this is a paid event (see above, link below)

It's a bit of an adventure as meet down at West Point Lake which is in Lagrange, GA and also in Alabama. We will go to several areas around the lake looking for different birds (walking and by car. No boats). We'll start from the lower part of the Dam, riverside, and then explore the shoreside of the lake and a few other park areas. Enticement: There is an eagle's nest in the area where we will be shooting. The likelihood of photographing them is very high. The location is beautiful next to a lake and a river and a Dam. At the end, we will discuss the editing of birds in Photoshop. The reason for the weekday workshop is the park is less populated y river), and dry land birds. It is a fantastic day outdoors and very fulfilling.
If you are new to using your amateur or professional camera, I will be there to assist. If you are new to bird photography, I will be assisting with techniques to photograph these fast little birds. If you are new to Photoshop, I can give an introductory to using it. We'll do the Photoshop part if the birds are sleeping or the last hour of the day (2-3pm).
Please put any questions in the discussion for all to see.
