Are you curious about home-based, Zoom extended sitting opportunities?
An option just came up to participate - online, via Zoom - in part or all of the upcoming Springwater 7-day retreat, led by Richard Witteman, September 19-26.
If you may be considering this, please respond to me in the next 3 days. We need to know now how much interest there is..
Fee: donation basis, as you are able. Suggested range: $25 per day for full participation.
Details:

  • Zoom room open all day, showing the online participants
  • Bells at the end of rounds, following the Springwater schedule
  • Access to Richard’s morning talk, live
  • Daily Zoom dialogue, facilitated by a Springwater teacher (other than Richard) or other experienced dialogue facilitator

Pros of Home Retreat:

  • Follow your own schedule
  • No need to make arrangements to take care of pets, spouses, etc
  • Comfort of your own home
  • Eat your preferred food
  • No need to miss appointments

Of course there are challenges to home retreat. It may take some planning to get the quiet that you want. There may be interruptions. You don't have the support of other retreatants' physical presence.
But there are ways around these challenges and I'd be happy to work with you options to make the best retreat setting for yourself.
