What we’re about
The Claris Beyond group is open to all experience levels and we encourage people to bring questions, problems, and share innovative solutions.
Our user group’s specific focus will be on topics related to external integrations with FileMaker, such as Claris Connect, REST API integration, or integration via a third-party tool or application.
We meet through Zoom on the third Wednesday of each month, for an hour to an hour and a half, starting at 12pm Pacific (2pm CT / 3pm ET). Meetings are a mixture of leader-led discussions, group Q&A, and guest speaker presentations. Each meeting ends with breakout sessions - Continue the Conversation and Joint Problem Solving - so you can ask more questions or get collaborative help with an issue you're tackling.
Have an idea to share? We would love to have you participate fully in the user group by signing up to share your knowledge of a specific area. Fill out this form and let us know what you’d like to explore. It can be an area you’re already working with, or one where you’d like to delve in and learn more.
In-person workshops will also be held from time to time.

•OnlineSquare Terminal API: Taking Payments in FileMaker
OnlineOlen Johnsen is joining the November Meetup to share his experience with a Square Terminal API Add-On that allows taking payments directly from FileMaker using the Square Terminal device and the Square Terminal API. In short - click/tap a button on your FileMaker app, the customer taps/swipes their card, the payment shows up in the app. Credit card numbers are stored in Square and are never available to be seen by FileMaker or FileMaker users.
