What we’re about

Living with a mood disorder is a confusing and challenging experience for many people. What makes this experience more difficult is misinformation, lack of education and stigma. These are what Clarity tackles through its online peer support sessions. The seeking and sharing of knowledge amongst peers helps individuals to advance towards self-directed recovery, through a non-clinical, non-judgemental and confidential forum.

Our Vision:
Individuals with lived experience of mood disorders have full clarity on the characteristics and symptoms of their illness, and the supports and treatments available to them, and feel empowered towards a self-directed recovery journey without fear of stigma.

Our Purpose:
Provide a safe, collaborative non-clinical space for all individuals with lived experience of mood disorders to seek and share knowledge of symptoms, supports and treatments so that misinformation, lack of education and stigma can be overcome and individual's recovery journeys can be expedited through an improved understanding of both themselves and the clinical environments in which they may engage.

Join our weekly one-hour Zoom sessions to learn and to share personal testimonies without the stigma.
