You're Invited! Classic Cars, Good Food & Great Company – All for a Fantastic Cause!

We’d love you to join us for a relaxed and friendly afternoon at the
Charity Classic Car BBQ & Display

📍 Upper Poppleton, York – Sunday 3rd August 2025, from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm
🥩 BBQ served around 1:00 pm
🎗 In support of YoungMinds, the mental health charity for children and young people.

Hosted by Anne H and Club RetroTorque, this informal summer get-together promises a great mix of cars, conversation, delicious food, and fundraising fun – all in the charming surroundings of Upper Poppleton, just off the A59 near the Park & Ride. (The exact address will be provided upon receipt of RSVP.)

Whether you’re bringing a classic to show or just coming to enjoy the day, everyone’s welcome – partners, children, and friends too!

What to Bring:

• Your drinks (soft drinks, beer, juice, etc.)
• Optional: a bottle of wine to contribute to our communal wine table (£1 donation per glass poured – all for charity!)
• Optional: a prize for the charity raffle

Entry & Fundraising:
We kindly ask for a minimum donation of £10 per car on display – with 100% going to YoungMinds. If you feel like giving more, that would be amazing.

We’ve raised nearly £1,000 each time in past years – this year, we’re aiming higher with a goal of £1,500+.

It’s a brilliant day with a wide variety of classics, great food, relaxed vibes, and passionate enthusiasts – all in support of a vital cause.
