Alne Street Fayre

Details
Members of RetroTorque are invited to display their cars at Alne Street Fayre on Sunday 08 June.
Alne Street Fayre is an annual event that raises money for the village’s sports and leisure facilities.
Alne Street Fayre is a fabulous family day out with a host of live music, activities and refreshments (incl. bar) to keep you entertained all through the afternoon.
Now in its 40th year, Alne Street Fayre has been hailed by The Times newspaper as one of the "Top Twenty UK Family Days Out" and one of only two in the North of England.
Details and pictures from previous events are at: alnestreetfayre.co.uk
Cars with driver and one passenger will be allowed free entry to the Street Fayre.
We have spaces for around twenty vehicles allocated on the western side of Church Wind between the junction of The Avenue to just north of the church. This space will be most likely shared with a fire engine and possibly some other vehicles.
Please arrive before 11:30 and present yourselves at the entrance barrier at the southern end of Church Wind: ///loft.clattered.done
Late arrivals will still be welcome and will be directed to Gale Road, which is also the overflow location: ///candles.stretcher.functions
The event closes at 16:30 and the organisers have asked that vehicles not be moved until after this time. If it is necessary to move your vehicle prior, drivers must seek out one of the event marshals to ensure visitor safety. Marshals will be wearing Hi-Viz vests.
If you want to join us, and we hope you will, please mark yourself as going on the Retrotorque Facebook event page.
