Abbott and Costello in Hold That Ghost (1941)

Abbott and Costello inherit a closed, rundown country tavern known as The Forrester Club. The boys take a passenger bus to inspect their holdings. When they reach their destination, they get off, as do the other passengers, using the opportunity to stretch their legs. The bus driver, however, darts off with the vehicle, leaving them stranded.

Once inside the building, mysterious unexplainable things begin to happen, and our band must investigate the strange supernatural occurrences besetting them.

This is another of Universal Studios A&C horror comedy related movies that were very popular in the 1940's. Others in the cast include Richard Carlson (Creature from the Black Lagoon), The Andrews Sisters, Shemp (Yes, THAT Shemp) Howard, Evelyn Ankers, Joan Davis and Ted Healy and his orchestra.

I will be there at 4:30 and will wait in the lobby until 4:45. Look for the guy in red Cardinal ballcap. When I go into the theater, I usually try to sit in the center.
