JERRY SAYS:
I'm NOT the biggest fan of The Alamo because of their belief that I share in the responsibility of ensuring their workers make a living wage, their higher ticket prices if you don't subscribe to their service, and all their &^%$#%&*(% rules [see below], BUT they do feature the carpet from THE SHINING in their lobby and they do show MANY movies you can't see elsewhere.

SHOW UP 30 MINS EARLY
Early birds enjoy a curated show before the show and a chance to order some cold drinks and unlimited popcorn before the movie starts.
AGE POLICY
All guests under 18 must be accompanied by and seated with an adult (18+). No children under the age of 6 will be admitted with the exception of G and PG shows starting before 7pm, when children 3 and up will be admitted. No children under the age of 3 will be admitted except for specifically designated "Baby Day" and "Sensory Friendly" screenings.
WE APPRECIATE PUNCTUALITY
In order to ensure the highest quality experience for all guests, you may not enter a movie after it has started. We’d love to see you up to 30 minutes early. Running late? No worries, we will happily exchange your ticket for a different showtime or a raincheck to a future show.
NO TALKING, NO TEXTING
We work hard to give you a premium experience with the sharpest picture and clearest sound in the biz, so we're not about to let someone's cell phone ruin that for you. That's where our ironclad no talking/no texting policy comes in.

ADVANCE TICKETS:

Because of their small theater sizes AND their rabid fan base, you ALWAYS need to buy your tickets ASAP. Shows frequently sell out.

PARKING:

I recommend parking in the City Foundry Garage on the same level as the Cinema...Super Safe, Convenient, and FREE! From 44, make a right off Vandeventer onto Forest Park Avenue, and you're virtually there!

After the movie, we will gather in the lobby for lively, provocative, and insightful conversation--OR as close as we can come to that, anyway--HA!

The infamous 1980s Santa slasher returns
Santa Claus is coming to town...and this time, he’s got an axe! Community leaders tried to stop it. The PTA fought to ban it. Now, one of the most controversial slasher films of all time is back in a new restoration from the original camera negative. SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT is the demented story of little Billy Chapman, traumatized by his parents’ Christmas Eve murder and then brutalized by sadistic nuns in an orphanage. When Billy grows up and dresses as Santa, he goes on a yuletide rampage to punish the naughty with extreme prejudice. Robert Brian Wilson and Linnea Quigley (NIGHT OF THE DEMONS) star in this harrowing horror classic that continues to ruffle the feathers of angry parents and stuffy critics 40 years later.

NOTE: On Rotten Tomatoes, this movie has an 53% on the Tomatometer and an 40% on the Popcornmeter.
