The Pasadena Community Orchestra performs free concerts featuring musicians from the local area. Live orchestral music is a special experience! Join us as we listen to wonderful music, enthusiastically performed! A special treat: Hear a performance by the winner in our Young Artist Competition. Before they become famous: you heard them here first!
Program:
- Mendelssohn Overture for Winds
- Grieg Peer Gynt Suite No. 1
- Concerto performance by Young Artist Competition Winner (Junior Division)
- Beethoven Scherzo from Symphony No. 9
Meetup: in lobby at 7:15pm to chat about music, or go into the auditorium to hear the pre-concert discussion. Concert starts promptly at 8:00pm.
