Israeli born Mezzo-Soprano Iris Malkin is an international artist who has performed widely in concerts and festivals in Israel, Europe, and the United States, and her performances have been broadcast worldwide. She graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music with Master?s Degrees in Vocal Performance and Piano and was awarded the highly coveted America Israel Cultural Foundation Study Scholarships. She has performed with renowned Israeli musicians, including Ensemble Kaprizma, and has substantial works specially written for her. She has worked with distinguished artists such as Teresa Berganza and Miguel Zanetti, and performed under the baton of Pierre Boulez during the 2006 Lucerne Festival. Some of her previous engagements include performing the Mezzo-Soprano solo in Handel?s Messiah and in Mozart?s Coronation Mass at Saint Louis Parish in Maryland, the role of Mercedes for Center Stage Opera?s Highlights from Carmen concert. She was also the featured guest artist on the Colburn School?s Faculty Recital Series.



Edward Trybek, classical guitarist, composer, and a multi-award winner, has garnered rave reviews of his musicianship, putting him into the upper echelon of America's young talented artists. On the international circuit, Mr. Trybek has performed in Greece, Canada, France, Thailand, Japan, Germany, and Austria, in addition to his regular US concert appearances. At the prestigious 49th Tokyo International Guitar Competition, Mr. Trybek?s silver-medal performance impressed his critical audience and judges with his masterful technique and superb musicality. Mr. Trybek was the first American to have won this prize, except for his mentor Maestro Scott Tennant who won gold in 1989. In 2005 Mr. Trybek earned three gold medals in competitions including the 5th Thailand International Guitar Competition; the Portland Guitar Competition (USA); and the University of Southern California Guitar Concerto Competition (USA). Mr. Trybek's devotion to classical guitar is reflected in his two solo CDs, Images of Spain and Portrait of Edward Trybek. Having studied with Maestro Scott Tennant since the age of fourteen, Mr. Trybek has been mentored to use his unique gift to amaze and inspire the audience with his captivating performances.
