"For Ed"

Join the San Jose Wind Symphony in “For Ed,” a heartfelt tribute concert honoring the remarkable 20-year legacy of Dr. Edward C. Harris, who served as music and artistic director of the San Jose Wind Symphony until his retirement in 2022. Under the direction of Dr. David Vickerman, the San Jose Wind Symphony will perform a program that reflects Dr. Harris's profound impact on the ensemble and its audiences. In honor of Ed's instrument, the concert features Steve Sánchez, clarinetist, performing Oscar Navarro's II Concerto. The concert features some of Ed's favorite works for wind band, as we celebrate his passion, dedication, and the musical excellence he fostered.
