Are you a Classical musician--singer, pianist, violinist, etc.--seeking opportunities to perform or present/try out repertoire, hone performance skills, in a safe, supportive environment?
Are you for looking for a setting to network and share with other musicians? Are you tired of having to go to the city to make music? Would you like to practice your craft close to home? Then the CMPC is the Meetup for you!
Members are encouraged to share not only compositions from the traditional classical repertoire, but to perform compositions by composers of color from across the ethnic spectrum as well! There is a wealth of work out there just waiting to be performed.
Monthly meetups will be held in a small, intimate setting giving members opportunities to perform for each other and to network. Two or three Salon Recitals will be held during the year for a broader local audience.
A $10 to $15 fee will be charged members attending each Meetup session to defray costs of administrative meetup fees, i.e., accompanist, space rental, and other Meetup expenses.
