September Classical Musicians' Parlor Circle

Welcome to our first Classical Musicians’ Parlor Circle session!

Have a composition that you’re learning, working on, getting ready to perform or just want to try out? This is the positive, supportive environment that will allow you to do this.

Participants should come prepared to present up to ten minutes (two – four) compositions during our salon. If you’re looking for feedback from your fellow musicians you can ask them what they think. If you just want to perform, that’s ok, too. We will be rotating musicians, one composition at a time so all get an equal opportunity to perform. There will also be time for just chatting and networking.

If you need an accompanist, let us know. Ideally, we will ask you to email copies of your music ahead of time so that the accompanist gets a chance to preview it. If you’re a pianist with good sight reading skills who’s willing to accompany others during the session, also let us know.

We’re certainly looking forward to meeting, listening to, and sharing with all!

The meet-up will be in a private home in Hollis, NY (Queens). The address will be forwarded to those who RSVP.

Fee: $15.00 cash collected at the door.
