Classic Dungeons & Dragons Event: The Coldest Campfire (PLEASE MESSAGE TO JOIN)

You’ve heard the call to adventure... these first steps toward destiny, either for reasons best kept to yourself and your deity… or because you genuinely aspired to make your friends and family proud.

This call as one would have it, comes from the small hamlet of Riverthrow, where the infamous bard Cain Lethellon (some would say scoundrel), is offering gold and glory in return for cutting down the local menagerie of wandering monsters to size, along with a host of other mundane problems that such a frontier town would face.

But first… you have to get there and that means making the trek through miles and miles of dense and unforgiving forest. Some of you lacked the gold to purchase travel via a sizable caravan, some of you simply came to view it as a challenge. Whatever it may be, it won’t be easy, these rumors of warring goblin tribes, vicious wolves, merciless bandits, undead creatures who stalk the night and even an occasional green dragon or two… but you’ve heard the call… and today, of all days… you’re answering back.

Pining for the days of old-school, original-edition Dungeons & Dragons gaming sessions? Look no further, as this invite-only intro session (message Matt to join) will consist of three-five players max, you’ll pick a pre-generated character, choose a figurine, grab some dice and you’ll be off on a one shot of classic Dungeons & Dragons goodness.

These one-shots are a series of custom adventure modules built around the story hook of the bard Cain Lethellon's call for Adventurers, set within the small town of Riverthrow and its surrounding lands... if your character survives this first session (hey, adventuring is a tough gig!) and you wish to join an ongoing campaign, then you can use the same character for the following modules in the storyline or you can create your own, from scratch.

No materials are needed, we have everything you'll need! Some other quick house rules:

Byob/snacks
No vaping, smoking, etc
No extra guests/friends/pets please
Table etiquette with phones
