Taming the Genie: What 6 months with Claude Code taught me about coding agent,

AI coding assistants are powerful — but like a genie, they do exactly what you ask, not what you mean. In this talk I share what I've learned from 6 months using Claude Code in real projects: the failure modes nobody talks about (context collapse, token-burning spirals, silent over-reliance), my actual setup and CLAUDE.md, and the principles I now live by.

AI Mythbusters: Debunking LinkedIn BS

From "AI is going to replace all devs", "AI already thinks" and "AI learns from your chats", to "with a RAG, AI will never hallucinate again" or "APIs are dead, long live MCPs", in this talk we'll do something highly disruptive in the tech industry: revisit some AI basic concepts.

We'll go through some of the most persistent myths about artificial intelligence with no doomsaying, no hype, a hint of embarrassment in some cases, and something very old school but effective: evidence.

Warning - You might leave with fewer certainties than you came in with. That's exactly the point.

This community is being built around solid engineering practices, not vibe coding. We want to explore what it really means to do agentic coding well, and how Claude Code fits into a professional engineering workflow.
We have prepared some content around the basics of agentic coding and AI to get the conversation started, but we'd love to hear from you too!

Los asistentes de programación con IA son potentes — pero, como un genio, hacen exactamente lo que les pides, no lo que realmente quieres decir. En esta charla comparto lo que he aprendido tras 6 meses usando Claude Code en proyectos reales: los modos de fallo de los que nadie habla (colapso de contexto, espirales de consumo de tokens, dependencia silenciosa), mi configuración real y mi CLAUDE.md, y los principios por los que ahora me guío.

Cazadores de mitos de la IA: desmontando el “humo” de LinkedIn

Desde “la IA va a reemplazar a todos los desarrolladores”, “la IA ya piensa” o “la IA aprende de tus chats”, hasta “con un RAG la IA dejará de alucinar” o “las APIs han muerto, larga vida a los MCPs”, en esta charla haremos algo altamente disruptivo en la industria tecnológica: revisar algunos conceptos básicos de la IA.

Recorreremos algunos de los mitos más persistentes sobre la inteligencia artificial sin catastrofismo, sin hype, con un toque de VA en algunos casos y algo muy old school pero efectivo: evidencia.

⚠️ Advertencia: puede que salgas con menos certezas de las que tenías al entrar. Ese es precisamente el objetivo.

Esta comunidad quiere construirse alrededor de buenas prácticas de ingeniería, no del vibe coding. Queremos explorar qué significa realmente hacer agentic coding bien, y cómo Claude Code encaja en un flujo de trabajo de ingeniería profesional.

Hemos preparado contenido sobre los fundamentos del agentic coding y la IA para arrancar la conversación. ¡Pero nos encantaría contar también contigo!
