Thousand Oaks Claude Code Hands-on Coding Workshop

We are getting together in Thousand Oaks to dig into the new Claude Code tool. This is a hands-on session for anyone in our community who wants to move beyond the documentation and actually see how the CLI agent handles real-world programming tasks. Whether you are curious about its potential to speed up your local development workflow or you are looking to troubleshoot some specific hurdles you have encountered while setting it up, this is a great chance to work through it alongside others who are also tinkering with it.

The plan is to keep things informal and collaborative. Bring your laptop, your current project, and any questions you have about integrating Claude into your coding process. We will spend the time pair-programming, sharing tips on effective prompting, and comparing how the tool performs across different languages and environments. It is a perfect space for weekend hackers who enjoy breaking things down and seeing how these new tools can actually improve our daily output.
