Hand Casting with Alginate and Plaster

Learn how to create a highly detailed cast of your hand! In this mini class, each student will create a single use mold of their hand using alginate.
Once a mold is created, we will create a copy with plaster. Alginate is a material that is commonly used to create dental impressions at the dentist. It allows for the creation of casts that are so detailed that skin texture is visible.
