Still-Life Bas-Relief Clay Sculpture Workshop

Each person will create their own 5”x7” bas-relief sculpture and will learn how to interpret the volumes of various forms and render them in a compressed manner that creates the illusion of a sculpture in-the-round.
Still-life study is a great step for those who would like to also learn how to sculpt the human figure in relief.
Students will be given an informational packet that outlines all of the information discussed in class for future reference.
Drawing or sculpture experience is not required but is very helpful.
