Introducing Nathan Apodaca. This man who works at a potato factory in Idaho was on his way to work in Sept of last year when his car broke down. He had about 15 minutes to get there and did not want to be late so he got on his longboard (a type of skateboard) and started riding down the highway while listening to a Fleetwood Mac song. Apparently he is quite coordinated, because while riding his longboard and lip-syncing this song, he was also drinking cranberry juice and he decided to record himself and post it on TikTok. His video went viral pretty fast, with the drummer from Fleetwood Mac attempting to imitate Nathan! Ocean Spray, the company whose cranberry juice he was drinking so appreciated the free advertising, that they sent him a brand new truck full of bottles of ocean spray juice and told him to keep the truck! He was down on his luck living in a run down RV, but within 2 months he had made over $340,000, and overnight his life was transformed! This is not only a heartwarming story (and we certainly have not had enough of those in the last year!) but it is also an excellent example of how the way we manage our internal environment influences our external environment.
