Tones for your Bones- Wood: Spring Music, Qi Gong, Acupressure

Details
A Virtual and limited in-person Workshop with weekly emails of information and reflection in between the live meetings. An incredible way to start off the Spring season and align with the abundant growth energy of Wood!
Tones for your Bones is a reflective experience incorporating Chinese medicine's Five element philosophy, Qi gong, acupressure, and a deeper connection to Nature set to live music. A collaboration between Li-Lan and multi-instrumentalist composer Alex Weiss, this Wood Element installment will include healing arts professional Arthur "Link" Freeman teaching the Qi Gong portion.
Working with the Wood Element is particularly useful when signs of imbalance show up this time or any time of the year, for example, seasonal allergies, feeling tired and unmotivated despite the new growth and increased rise in outside temperatures, sighing more often, having a hard time starting a new project or intention, feeling frustrated/overwhelmed/angry, hormonal fluctuations that feel exasperating, waking up in the middle of the night, irritable bowel syndrome. Understanding the Wood element is also particularly helpful if life has presented an unexpected turn and one is having to prepare/pivot to the change of events that one didn't plan for (hint hint: Covid pandemic?)
What Tones for your Bones will help facilitate, through music and the natural elements, is the security of being able to be in our bodies, listening, smelling, seeing and feeling, despite what is going on around us or to us. A stronger Wood element means one feels more secure, safe, ready and resourced to start something new and move towards a vision or dream.
