Cleanweb Meetup

Cleanweb Bangalore brings your our second meetup, coinciding with the start of the PowerStart accelerator program! The meetup is aimed at bringing together people who are developing or are interested in developing "cleanweb" solutions for critical sectors such as energy and transportation.

Speakers:

Blake Burris: Blake is Founder & Chief Hacktivist of The Cleanweb Initiative and VP Developer Relations, Vinli. Blake will give an introduction to Cleanweb and it's genesis which began with a blog post by Sunil Paul, CEO of Sidecar. He will discuss his interest in solving urban mobility challenges with IT solutions and how that led him in 2014 to Vinli, the connected car platform. Chris George: Chris is Director of Evangelism at Vinli and Chief Community Catalyst at The Cleanweb Initiative. He has been responsible for rallying 10,000 people in 20 countries to join in Cleanweb activities and hackathons since 2012. Chris will give an overview on Vinli, the developer platform, sample applications and his work building a movement globally of connected car developers and entrepreneurs. Jyot Chadha: Jyot leads the Initiative to Catalyse Urban Innovation at EMBARQ, a leading global think tank in the transportation space. Jyot will talk about the emerging trends in the smart city space, especially from a point of view of entrepreneurship.
