Walk - Exploration Green to UHCL via the Bay Area Hike & Bike Trail (4.2 miles)

Let's walk the Bay Area Hike & Bike Trail to UHCL. We will start at Phase 5 of Exploration Green and use the newly finished by-pass to join the Bay Area Hike & Bike Trail which starts at Space Center Blvd. The out and back route is approximately 4.2 miles total (see map in the photos below) and the pace will be 18-20 min/mile. The entire route is paved in concrete. The walk can be extended by 1 mile by finishing the Exploration Green Phase 5 loop on the way back. Consider bringing water as it may still be warm at the start of the walk.

Meeting Point: Exploration Green Phase 5 parking lot at Bay Area Blvd., just west of Space Center Blvd. If the parking lot is full, there is street parking on Seahorse Dr. (do not use the apartments or condos parking lots) or across Bay Area Blvd. at the Ashley's Donuts parking lot.
