Comparing Transformation Frameworks: dbt vs. SQLMesh

Data build tool (dbt) is one of the most common data transformation frameworks in wide use today, but dbt Labs has come under scrutiny for perceived over-commercialization of the project. In this talk we'll explore SQLMesh as an alternative to dbt. Join us as we review the technical and philosophical differences between these frameworks, and identify the best use cases for each.
