Summertime at Transplant House

Transplant House of Cleveland offers housing for families of patients having transplants. Our cooking club offers guests a taste of home and an opportunity to socialize at a dinner. This month, we're doing grilled chicken and summer-inspired salads. When you sign up please post in a comment what times you plan to be there, so we know who is coming to prep, serve, or both. We'll start cooking at 4 and start serving at 545.

I'll supply the chicken. CCC members can bring salads/ ingredients, and whatever else they deem appropriate. If you are doing this, please post in a comment what and when you'll be bringing. Plan on doing 25 servings. For foods prepared off-site, the usual safety guidelines apply:
* Be sure hands and food preparation surfaces are clean, avoiding cross contamination of cooked and raw foods
* Cook / cool safely to the right temperature
* Transport foods at a safe temperature
Please bring them by 5:15 on Wednesday.

Please DM Harlan if you have any questions. Please consult the map/directions, as the posted address will take you to the front of the building on 115th, but access and parking are actually in the back, on Circle Drive. The kitchen is very small; we've had people sign up and not come when we've had to tell others we wouldn't have room for them. If you sign up, please come and if your plans change, please post and cancel well in advance.
