Caribbean Cooking at Transplant House

Details
Transplant House of Cleveland offers a home for families of patients having transplants. Our group offers guests an opportunity to socialize at a dinner. This time, we're doing Jamaican-style Curried Chicken, Smothered Cabbage, Rice, and Haitian-style Pikliz.
Feel free to demonstrate your extensive or aspiring mastery of Caribbean food by helping prepare the above or bringing a dessert or appropriate side dish (either prepared or ingredients to prepare on-site). If you are doing this, please post in a comment what and when you'll be bringing. We start packing the carryout meals at 545 and serving dine-in meals at 6. We plan on serving 25. For foods prepared off-site, the usual safety guidelines apply:
* Be sure hands and food preparation surfaces are clean, avoiding cross contamination of cooked and raw foods
* Cook / cool safely to the right temperature
* Transport foods at a safe temperature
Please bring them by 5:15 on Wednesday.
Please DM Harlan if you have any questions. Please consult the map/directions, as the posted address will take you to the front of the building on 115th, but access and the parking lot are actually in the back, off Circle Drive. If you sign up, please come; if your plans change, please cancel well in advance.
Looking forward to seeing you.
