Great Lakes Medieval Faire - Costume-up- Yeah!

Greetings me lady, greetings me man, come to mine castle and roast mine a ham! Fill up thy mug, whilst Fiddler dost play, make lotsa merriment, ev - er- y day! Saddle up thy horse, joust in thy grass, shoot with thy arrow, but not in mine….

The Great Lakes Medieval Faire is a shaded, 13th-century family fun theme park filled with continuous entertainment, juried crafts and artisans, rides and interactive games, and foods fit for a king.

Reminiscent of Sherwood Forest, you'll be transported back in time! There you'll experience an age of romance and chivalry, where brave knights battle for the favor of the Queen, fair damsels and minstrels frolic and the villagers and fae enjoy a festival day with much merriment!

There are 100+ artisans and vendors, magicians, and musicians.

Please dress for the weather, as much of the program is outside.

Let’s meet by the ticket area between 2:30 and 3:00 for a 3:00 pm departure. I will be updating the Meet Up comment section from time to time telling you where we are.

Important: if you need to message me like if you are lost or running late or anything: please do so in the “general comments”section because I only have two eyes, but the group has two eyes multiplied by how many of the group is and they can help me manage the messages so that we can find you or help you. Because let’s face it, a billion eyes are better than two eyes. Why do you think flies have 5 eyes? Look at snails. Do you think those two little pointy things are just two eyes? What about butterflies? Have you ever heard “ommatidia?” If you ever have trouble sleeping at night, which I do, like right now, look it up! It will be sure to get you to sleep. 🤣

So get on your best medieval regalia, make sure it is not too tight because yes, we will be eating later on that evening-after I figure out what restaurant we can go to to feed thy-nesses, put on some comfortable shoes, wear sunblock, bring some Wawa (water to stay hydrated) with you, and let’s get ready for some fun!
