Thanks for being the BEST part of Cleveland Eastside Fun — you make these events absolutely Aah maaaa zing!

BUT, and that’s a very big BUTT: sometimes people sign up BUT don’t come, and that makes me hangry!!! It also makes me want to start giving spankings — because then people who are on the waitlist don’t get a chance to come! So everybody loses. We don’t want everybody to lose, do we?! imagine yourself in their place. The worst part of it is, is that I don’t get to see your cutie patootie little face! And the rest of your friends here don’t get to see your cutie little patootie face either! We can’t have that, can we?!

Never fear I have fixed this problem:

So now you owe me a dollar. Yesssss a dollar. For realzzzzzz. And this is not just any dollar —this is a MAGICAL dollar!!! The US mint only makes magical dollars every 72 years, almost like Haley’s Comet! This $1.00 goes to Meetup and reserves your spot! If I do not see this dollar from you by the deadline (in the title of the posting), then I will very very VERY reluctantly have to move you to the waitlist and your spot is no longer guaranteed. The $1.00 is non-refundable to hold your spot. If you can’t attend, please cancel so someone on the waitlist can join. If the one dollar is not paid by the deadline, you will be moved to the waitlist. The Meetup site is cray cray and so I am inputting my payment methods for the MAGICAL $1 here; thank you for your patience:
PAYPAL: https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/YTLQVTEM7KR8Q

VENMO: Please find AlexAndriaCESF

I will manually check in VENMO or PAYPAL to see if you have paid the MAGICAL $1, so do not be alarmed if your status on ‘Meetup’ still shows as ‘unpaid’. Remember: This $1.00 is separate from the cost of the activity which goes to the venue. I will always give you a means to pay the venue. Some venues don’t have a cost, but that does not mean you get out of paying Meetup the $1.00. Capisce!!? And now a drum roll please. I said drum. roll. Please!

Who needs California, Champagne, or Bordeaux for that matter, when you can delight all your cute little tummies and taste buds can handle right here in our own backyard! Come join me for the ice wine festival in the Grand River Valley! Let’s visit the wineries of the Grand River Valley for an afternoon of ice wine sampling perfectly paired with appetizers and a souvenir glass! Area maps will be provided at all wineries to help patrons plan their route. BUT, and that is a very big BUTT, if you do not want to carry the paper copy that they will be distributing, just look at the Meetup posting picture that was created by none other than moi! The official participants are highlighted in yellow and numbered! Yessssss, the locations are numbered 1 through 7. We will follow those locations in order, please. This means that we will meet at Number 1. Yesssss: Number 1: Grand River Cellars!

When we meet up there, we can decide if we would like to perhaps carpool with one another. It would be easier to park if we have more people in less cars, and it is a very good opportunity to Chitty chat and make friends.

So let’s get through the official list, but maybe pick up some unofficial wineries the second time around the block! I don’t want you to miss out on the participating wineries, so let’s do the official list first. And depending on how much you drink - y - poo, we may only get around the block the first time around.

And remember to get your nibbling in. This is a wine trail, not a barf trail. I will bring plastic bags just in case. Although if you do feel the need to up CHUCK your wine CHUCK, it should still be quite chilly outside, so it’ll simply just freeze in mid air and then shatter to the ground. Like frozen rain, freeze dried gum drops, astronaut ice cream, or watching rain fall on a still pond, frog eye- view. Ahhhh, just what you wanted on a Saturday afternoon. Instead of “ it’s raining Men, hallelujah”, it’ll be “it’s raining cheese, bread, grapes, and whatever else they feed us hallelujah” - but post chewing.

So Nooooooo! please drink responsibly. However, feel free to behave irresponsibly, because what happens in wine country stays in wine country!!!

We are going to start at the Grand River Cellars location. That is Location Number 1. That is where the meet up meeting point address is. I repeat we are going to start at the grand River Cellars location. Look at my Meetup map: it is Location #1 where there is a big giant smiling sun named Shirley . Shirley the Sun, a.k.a. Sunny Shirley. Yes let’s start there. And then we will progress!

Let’s meet between 1:00 and 1:30 for a 1:30 PM start.

Cost: $10 per winery stop

And let’s get something to eat after afterwards. TBA! Dinner reservations are at 5:30 pm. So bundle up, where are your stretchy pants, wear comfortable shoes, bring some water with you to stay hydrated, no barfing permitted- and let’s get ready for some fun!
