Thanks for being the BEST part of Cleveland Eastside Fun — you make these events absolutely Aah maaaa zing!

BUT, and that’s a very big BUTT: sometimes people sign up BUT don’t come, and that makes me hangry!!! It also makes me want to start giving spankings — because then people who are on the waitlist don’t get a chance to come! So everybody loses. We don’t want everybody to lose, do we?! imagine yourself in their place. The worst part of it is, is that I don’t get to see your cutie patootie little face! And the rest of your friends here don’t get to see your cutie little patootie face either! We can’t have that, can we?!

Never fear I have fixed this problem:

So now you owe me a dollar. Yesssss a dollar. For realzzzzzz. And this is not just any dollar —this is a MAGICAL dollar!!! The US mint only makes magical dollars every 72 years, almost like Haley’s Comet!

This $1.00 goes to Meetup and reserves your spot! If I do not see this dollar from you by the deadline (in the title of the posting), then I will very very VERY
reluctantly have to move you to the waitlist and your spot is no longer guaranteed.

The $1.00 is non-refundable to hold your spot. If you can’t attend, please cancel so someone on the waitlist can join. If the one dollar is not paid by the deadline, you will be moved to the waitlist.
The Meetup site is cray cray and so I am inputting my payment methods for the MAGICAL $1 here; thank you for your patience:
PAYPAL: https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/YTLQVTEM7KR8Q

VENMO: Please find AlexAndriaCESF

I will manually check in VENMO or PAYPAL to see if you have paid the MAGICAL $1, so do not be alarmed if your status on ‘Meetup’ still shows as ‘unpaid’.
Remember:
This $1.00 is separate from the cost of the activity which goes to the venue. I will always give you a means to pay the venue. Some venues don’t have a cost, but that does not mean you get out of paying Meetup the $1.00.

Capisce!!?

And now a drum roll please. I said drum. roll. Please!

Cleveland ParaCon — who ya gonna call?

Have you ever heard a mysterious bump in the night and immediately decided, “Nope. Whatever that was can have that room”? Have you ever wondered whether ghosts are actually real? Or why paranormal investigators carry around thousands of dollars worth of equipment just to have a little box suddenly go beep beep beep and everybody gets excited?

Well, my witto chickens, we are going to find out because we are going to Cleveland ParaCon! ParaCon is short for “paranormal convention”, which means paranormal investigators, ghost hunters, psychics, mediums, researchers, podcasters, believers, skeptics, and people who apparently have much more courage than I do will all be gathered under one roof.

There will be vendors, lectures , and all things paranormal . Will we see a ghost? Maybe. Will a psychic tell us something shocking? Possibly. Will somebody’s ghost detector start beeping because they’re standing next to a microwave? We shall investigate. Will I personally volunteer to walk alone into a dark basement because somebody heard a mysterious voice down there? Absolutely not. I will be available for moral support from a brightly lit area approximately 400 feet away.

You don’t have to believe in ghosts to come. In fact, skeptics might have even more fun. Come because you’re fascinated. Come because you’re curious. Come because you think the entire thing is completely bananas. Or come because you want to watch the rest of us completely lose our dignity the first time something moves by itself. Nobody gets to go pee pee in their pants though. However, if you do pee pee in your pants, remember what happens at ParaCon stays at ParaCon!

Please buy your general admission ticket ($30) at this link here:

https://clevelandparacon.com/

and presto — you’re an official ParaConer! That did that sound right — I think it’s the word CONER that makes it sound more like a criminal situation. So let’s try that again: purchase your general admission ticket, and you are officially in the middle of all the paranormal researchers, psychics and Ghosties with the Mosties— that you can handle !

There is also a separate ghost hunt beginning at 8:00 pm. That requires its own ticket ($90) and goes past midnight. We can decide as the evening progresses whether we’re feeling brave enough to join. You absolutely do not have to stay until the end, which is at 3 AM.

Somewhere around midnight the ghosts can take care of themselves because I will probably be asleep. If a spirit needs me after midnight, it can leave a message— for NOT me!

We will Meet between 2:00 and 2:30 pm for a 2:30 PM start. We will meet just
outside Coco’s Selfie Space. Just look for a gathering of extraordinarily amazing people with those cutie patootie little faces that I just want to —bougie bougie bougie bougie bougie— pretending they’re not remotely afraid of ghosts!

We will have dinner at 5:00 (restaurant TBA ), and decide if we would like to do the ghost hunt that starts at 8:00pm.

Bring your curiosity, your sense of humor, and your adventurous spirit. Perhaps bring a friend who runs slightly slower than you. You know… just in case, and get ready for some para-normally aah maaaaa zing fun!
