INFORMATION
Even if you are not going to camp, join us for the day and enjoy the company.
I did a run-through with a fellow group member at Mosquito Lake State Park Campground. Check out bathroom pictures. They are clean.
The location is quite nice. I really did enjoy the tour.
Our campsite is a primitive camping area with some shade (very little shade).
Our campsite accommodates up to 40 people and allows pets. Each site has picnic tables and a charcoal grill. Drinking water (please fill up the water filter as needed), showers, and flush restrooms are nearby but far enough that we will not smell anything (see photos).
Alcohol is permitted on the campsite only.
I will bring:
* Screen tent for one picnic table.
* My tent and all that I need for glamping.
* Water Filter System (6 gallons and filters 1 gallon an hour)
* Portable spray/shower w/ 5 gallon bucket
* Firewood
* Ice cooler
* A wagon for all to use to truck your stuff up the hill.
* Trashbags
* London (my dog) - we usually camp solo. So this will be new for us.

SATURDAY (during the day),
There is much to do -- One of our members has a boat and is looking for anyone interested in getting out on the lake-
If you are into disc golf the Squirrel Run Disc Golf Course features 18 holes FREE (outside campground but walkable)
- The Cooperation Station Dog Park is a 5-acre off-leash dog park FREE (shaded & water access) - I will be going there first thing my dog London wakes me. Anyone can come with us (walkable).-
Fishing for plentiful catches of walleye, bass, crappie, and northern pike. (must have license)-
A 600-foot beach provides recreation for swimmers and sunbathers.
- Hiking (I will be hiking the Turkey Run Trail - carpooling is welcome)
* Beaver Trail — 0.6 mile; Multi-use trail for hiking and biking. Located inside the campground.
* Horse Trail — 8.4 miles; Located on the west side of the lake
* Squirrel Run Trail — 0.2 mile; Multi-use trail for disc golf and hiking. Located near the beach.
* Turkey Run Trail — 5 miles; Located on the east side of the lake
SATURDAY NIGHT - Campfire with s'mores and our community.FRIDAY - You do as you please. Just clean up after yourselves.
