Are you a "Major Key" person or a "Minor Key" person?

Details

In music theory, there are sounds that are part of what's called the "major key" and sounds that are part of the "minor key." Major keys have a bright, cheerful sound, while minor keys have a more somber, often melancholic sound. But amazing songs have been created in both keys.

Do you think people might be like music in this way? It seems like some people would rather be happy even if it means they had to only experience certain parts of life, or even oversimplify their view of it. Other people seem open to having a lot of negative, unpleasant or, at the very least, extremely boring experiences because they are after something and these experiences are the cost of getting that something. Like Philip Roth, one of my favorite authors, who just wanted to be the absolute best author he could be, even if that meant he had to sacrifice happiness. But illustratively, he changed his mind late in life, quit writing, and became focused on enjoying each day, which seems intuitively obvious for many people but came as a revelation to him.
