What can ChatGPT tell us about personality?

I tried using ChatGPT as a "therapist" in an experiment a week or two ago. The results were disturbing: The advice ChatGPT provided seemed totally informed and practical, and the tool was also good at pushing the discussion further to provide even more insightful analysis.

However, it actually was too much information, too fast. I couldn't process all the stuff it was saying to me at once, and had to take a break. I'm not saying I agree or disagree with what it said, but the analysis it provided was at least reasonable and competent. At the same time, the experience had a strange, Orwellian feel that I'm not sure I liked.

At this meeting, we'll break into discussion groups and work with ChatGPT and other tools to see what they say about different personality-related issues.
