Evening walk from Swainby Parish Church

At this time of year evening walks are very refreshing and the atmosphere as the sun sets is very peaceful. This is a circular walk of 4.5 miles with a slow ascent during the first part of the walk and returning across the fields.

The route takes us along the road in the direction of Whorlton, across the fields to Whorl Hill. From here through the woods, along Bank Lane and then across the fields back to the start point.

Please park considerately in the village, where there are public toilets available and meet in the road near the church.
