Egton Bridge Autumn walk

A 7 mile walk with our rambler group led by Cath is open to all. Set in the Esk Valley we start at Egton Bridge and proceed through woods to Blue Beck Cottage and on to High Burrows Farm. From here we follow a bridle way and track to Murk Esk Cottage. This path is steep and stony so walking poles might be useful for this downhill section. Once we reach Grosmont we take the wide track passing by Egton Manor to get back to the cars. There will be a ten minute break so feel free to bring a drink/snack to enjoy. Please ensure you have sturdy, waterproof footwear and dress according to the weather. It is advisable to carry a torch in case we are late back or the night is drawing in early. The scenery is beautiful and there is uphill walking involved.
