Ruswarp

A walk with amazing views of the Esk Valley and area behind Whitby along good paths and some field tracks. The route takes us from the car park opposite Ruswarp Mart, along Larpool Lane through Glen Esk to Squirrels Acre, where we turn Southeast through the woods to Golden Grove. Continuing to Long Rigg, which we follow turning East at The Riggs and Asp House on the footpath to Low Hawsker. We continue past Hawsker Hall Farm to Stainsacre, where we take the Cinder Track towards Whitby and over the Larpool Viaduct. The Esk Valley Walk then returns us to Ruswarp village.
