We are a HEMA school in NE Ohio operating out of TowPath Fitness. We have a strong focus on longsword, in both Italian and German traditions and also offer a class on rapier.
Starting October 11th, our beginner classes for new fencers is the second Saturday of every month unless otherwise indicated.

Intro to HEMA Longsword class

Welcome to the CSHF Intro to HEMA Longsword course! We are excited to meet you and train with you.
You must be 18+ to attend.
You must preregister here as we have limited spots available and do not accept walk ins.Please arrive 15 mins early to sign paperwork, such as liability forms, and social media release forms, etc… as well as make your payment.
Please bring:
A water bottle
A light snack
Wear athletic clothing, especially shoes
If you use an athletic cup please bring one
If you use an inhaler or other medication for exercise/asthma make sure you have it available.How to find us:
We are located at Towpath fitness (also comes up as TowPath CrossFit) in ValleyView, just off of 480 and Canal Road.

There is a front with glass doors and we will have a folding sign on the sidewalk for visibility. The warehouse door will also be open as long as the weather is nice. You will see signs for the CrossFit studio in orange.
There is ample free parking.
We accept payment by PayPal, Venmo or cash. The cost is 30 dollars per person at the time of the event.
You will receive a welcome folder with our information, coupons for friends, a list of gear recommendations/suppliers, along with an invite to our club discord should you choose to continue with classes.
We primarily communicate by discord and email for updates and changes to scheduling. The discord also offers more materials and discussions regarding HEMA that are accessible on your own time.
