Long-time story-focused DM and TTRPG writer, Paul Scofield will be running Darrington Press' Official Introductory adventure: Sablewood Messengers, using the critically acclaimed Daggerheart system. Known for its deep fantasy roots, retooled to encourage the popular emotional, character-driven roleplay seen in actual plays, Daggerheart uses Dual D12's representing Hope and Fear, metacurrencies for both the players and the GM. By doing away with initiative rolls, a Spotlight flows between characters and their foes, so the actions of those involved dictate who goes next.
