To A Land Unknown (2025 Greek film with India Flame after)

This film reminds us of the tragic plight of modern day refugees and the unintended consequences of war (and tyranny). The preview is linked below as well as parking info ... and here is the film synopsis:

"The stakes couldn’t be higher for displaced refugees Chatila and Reda in this knife-edge drama. The cousins are saving to pay for fake passports to get out of Athens, but when Reda loses their hard-earned cash to his drug addiction, Chatila hatches an extreme plan to pose as smugglers in an attempt to get them out of their desperate situation before it is too late."

We will meet in the lobby area at 6:30 pm - which is 15 minutes prior to the screening. I recommend eating a snack before you come. After the film we will head over to India Flame, across the street, to discuss the film and enjoy some delicious food.

Free parking is available behind the CIA building in Lot 73 as well as in the annex lot. Both of these parking lots are easily accessed from East 117th Street off of Euclid Avenue. Please use Entrance C or Entrance A to enter the building.

The Cleveland Cinematheque is located inside of the Cleveland Institute of Art (not the Cleveland Museum of Art).
