If you are not already familiar with this highly regarded and quite possibly genius work of cinematic art, here is the synopsis:

"This psychedelic tour of life after death is seen entirely from the point of view of Oscar, a young American drug dealer and addict living in Tokyo with his sister, Linda. When Oscar is killed by police during a bust gone bad, his spirit journeys from the past — where he sees his parents before their deaths — to the present — where he witnesses his own autopsy — and then to the future, where he looks out for his sister from beyond the grave."

We will meet in the lobby area at 8:00 pm - which is 15 minutes prior to the screening. I recommend eating dinner before you come. If there is enough interest we may meet at India Flame, across the street, prior to the film.

Free parking is available behind the CIA building in Lot 73 as well as in the annex lot. Both of these parking lots are easily accessed from East 117th Street off of Euclid Avenue. Please use Entrance C or Entrance A to enter the building.

The Cleveland Cinematheque is located inside of the Cleveland Institute of Art (not the Cleveland Museum of Art).
