Tech Workshop

Details
Please note, there is a location change! This meeting is an open workshop event for the Cleveland Game Developers group where developers, artists and designers can casually get together for presentations, collaboration and beta testing games. Everyone is welcome to participate and sit in.
The next Tech Workshop event has been scheduled for Saturday, July 31st from 1PM - 5PM at the Beachwood Library. For those unfamiliar with Beachwood, it's just two exits south of the Mayfield Library on route 271.
Beachwood Library
25501 Shaker Boulevard
Beachwood, Ohio 44122-2398
Corner of Richmond & Shaker Boulevard
For the workshop agenda, I will be discussing User Interfaces and User Experiences at 1PM. And then at 2PM we have fellow member Michael Robellard, creator of Railroad Empire, presenting on using the Google App Engine with games. I am extremely interested to see this, especially with the news that Google is about to unveil a Facebook competitor. After that, it's Open Floor for discussions, beta testing or whatever the group wants to do.
Quick note on the facilities, there is free Wifi internet access available and we'll have a PC projector for those with laptops for presentations and demos. Also, we are limited to a maximum of 25 people for the meeting room and I verified that the meeting room is wheelchair accessible.
