#9 Special Topic: The Painted Bird by Jerzy Kosinski.

The author of this book uses the story of a young Jewish boy separated from his family during WWII, his hardships, the discriminatory actions of indigent people's towards him, and what these things did to his character and disposition to illustrate the impact of man's inhumanity towards his fellow man, especially in times of war.
