Shoot for Joy is a photography group for women who want to explore life through a new lens. This is a beginner-friendly ONLY photography group for women who want to explore something new together, connect with others, and learn through creativity — not competition.
Whether you’ve just picked up a DSLR, a mirrorless camera, or you’re just using your phone, this group is for women who are new to photography and want to grow, laugh, and learn together — one shot at a time.
This is about trying something new, building friendships, and finding joy in nature and in small moments. We’ll figure things out together — no teachers, no pressure.
📸 We’ll meet at parks, cafes, gardens, and city streets.
🌿 We'll learn how to use our camera, explore light and angles, share and capture moments.
- We’ll also do picnics, reflection days, take each other shots and do creative challenges — all in the spirit of discovery.
💬 Most importantly — we will build friendships with other creative women.
Let’s grow from “I don’t know what ISO means” to “Check out my shot!”
✨You don’t need experience. Just a love for beauty, curiosity, and community.
✅ Must-Haves (Choose One):
DSLR or Mirrorless Camera (any brand – Canon, Sony, Nikon, etc.)
OR
Phone with a camera (iPhone, Samsung, Google Pixel – all welcome!)
No need to buy anything fancy — just bring what you have!
But if you're feeling inspired, go ahead and treat yourself to a fun accessory — a camera strap, a cute camera bag, or even a prop like a hat or flower. It’s all about making this hobby feel joyful and personal.
